in health care, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, an affiliate of the
Saint Barnabas Health Care System, strongly supports its commitment

It is with great pleasure that we introduce The
Janice M. Gamper Nursing Scholarship for students currently
enrolled or accepted into an accredited nursing program.
- Be a matriculated nursing student in an accredited Baccalaureate
Degree, Associate Degree or Diploma Nursing Program.
- Maintain a 3.0 grade point average in nursing related courses.
- Provide two (2) letters of recommendation – current/past
professors or employers.
- Submit an application, a 500-word essay that describes your
educational plan, career goals, how they correlate to the nursing
mission, and why you should receive the scholarship; a personal
interview may be required.
- Owe Saint Barnabas one year of service for each $2,500 scholarship
awarded by Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
- Be of good moral character.
- Agree to participate in employee focus groups as requested.

of employee orientation and the three-month probationary period.
In addition, applicants must perform at a minimum satisfactory level,
with no pending disciplinary actions.
