Ellen P. Coughlin held several positions at The Center for Hospice
Care before becoming Vice President of Patient and Family Services in
1997. A certified hospice nurse, she previously was Senior Director
of Clinical Services and Patient Care Coordinator for the center.
Ms. Coughlin also served as a staff nurse in pediatrics at United Hospital
Medical Center, Newark, NJ, and Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston.
A nursing graduate of Felician College, Lodi, NJ, she earned a bachelor’s
degree in psychology from Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ,
and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Seton Hall
University, South Orange, NJ. She also holds master’s degree in
public administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison,
NJ.
