Community Medical Center Fern Papalia, RN, MA,
MSN Fern has been a part of the Community Medical Center family for over 25 years. She began her career at CMC as a charge nurse, rising to the Director of Oncology, a position she held for 18 years. She later became the Administrative Director of Nursing, a position she has held since 1999. Most currently Fern held the role of Acting Vice President of Patient Care Services. Fern holds a Master of Science in Nursing, Health Systems Administration from Seton Hall University, and a Master of Science in Administration with a Business Focus from Central Michigan University. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Thomas Edison State College. Fern is a member of the Organization of Nursing Executives of New Jersey, the Oncology Nursing Society and the Ocean-Monmouth Oncology Society and the Kiwanis Club. Fern’s leadership and management experience, coupled with her career-long dedication to the profession of nursing serves her exceptionally well as she oversees the clinical and nursing excellence for which Community Medical Center has come to been known for.
